"Ghost Adventures: The Original Documentary" (also known as "Ghost Adventures: The Beginning", "Ghost Adventures Documentary" or simply "Ghost Adventures") is a documentary film first aired on the Sci Fi Channel on July 25, 2007 and is the precursor to the full "Ghost Adventures" television series. Focusing on the haunted locations of Virginia City, Nevada, it documents the height of the guys' three-week ghost-hunting expedition amongst Nevada's mining towns, and the subsequent investigation of the Goldfield Hotel. It received several awards, including the 2006 Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF).

"Ghost Adventures: The Original Documentary" (conosciuto anche come "Ghost Adventures: The Beginning", "Ghost Adventures Documentary" o semplicemente "Ghost Adventures") è un documentario andato in onda per la prima volta su Sci Fi Channel il 25 Luglio 2007, precursore della serie televisiva "Ghost Adventures". Concentrandosi sulle locations infestate di Virginia City, Nevada, documenta i momenti culminanti delle tre settimane di esplorazione in cerca di fantasmi trascorsi tra le cittadine minerarie del Nevada e la successiva indagine al Goldfield Hotel dei ragazzi. Ha ricevuto parecchi premi, incluso il Gran Premio della Giuria come Miglior Documentario al New York Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) nel 2006.
