Lady Snake: Intervista speciale per Halloween / Special Halloween interview

You all know who is Lady Snake, the English witch who helped the guys performing rituals during the Ancient Ram Inn and Hellfire Caves investigations. We guessed it was a good idea asking her an interview for our Halloween special and she kindly accepted. It's been a huge honor for us Ghost Adventures Fans Italia to get the statement of one of the most important people who ever worked with Zak, Nick and Aaron. And we are showing it to you with great pleasure.

Sapete tutti chi è Lady Snake, la strega inglese che ha aiutato i ragazzi a praticare dei rituali nelle indagini all'Ancient Ram Inn e alle Hellfire Caves. Abbiamo pensato che fosse una buona idea chiederle un'intervista per il nostro speciale di Halloween ed è stata così gentile da accettare. E' stato un enorme onore per noi di Ghost Adventures Fans Italia aver raccolto la dichiarazione di una delle persone più importanti che abbiano mai collaborato con Zak, Nick e Aaron! Ed è con grande piacere che ve la mostriamo.

Lady Snake: Greetings Gwen and GA fans in Italy. Lovely to hear from you all. Thank you for the questions I will try to answer them as honestly as I can.

Gwen: Why have you become a witch?

Lady Snake: I feel that I just linked into being a Witch from a young age, my parents tried getting me christened when I was around 7 and I can remember running out upset and saying no. I also loved being outdoors and making things from the trees around me, like wands feathers and so on. And collecting candles and naturally writing incarnations and spells.

Gwen: And what does being a witch mean nowadays?

Lady Snake: For me being a Witch is the most important job in the world. I'm constantly hearing from fans and people who need help after trying every other source. I help people with fertility, jobs, relationships, bad neighbours the list goes on. A lot more people seem to understand what being a witch is these days and seem more open minded. Although here in the UK it can be still a bit taboo but media tend to play a big role in that with the negative story’s.

Gwen: You’ve had the honor of working with the Ghost Adventures Crew twice, how did it feel?

Lady Snake: When I first met with three Americans men walking down a road filming I was excited because they was laughing and joking with each other, and I remember thinking how easy and approachable they looked. I had met with Aaron the night before filming at the Hotel, he didn't know who I was and happily had a conversation with me smoking his cigar at the time. His whole body language changed when I told him who I was! Not nasty but unsure of me. As at that time he truly loved his God. He told me he was intrigued with my work and was looking forward to working with me... The following day I remember the look on the lads faces when I was in my witches gear. They smiled and put me at ease straight away they listened to all that was said. All that you seen on the camera was how it happened to be honest. It was such an honour to work with three talented guys who are very passionate about there work as I am. We kept in touch over face book and Twitter so when I was asked again to help them out I was extra excited to meet up and work again if I'm honest such an honour again and of course to catch up. Each one took the time out to talk. Nick was a true gentleman could talk about anything, organised everyone and was very much sensitive to spirit. Zak has a wicked dry sense of humour, and loves history and anything paranormal challenges everything very gifted man. Aaron jokes a lot and never really stood or sat still the 2nd time we met I felt he was one with life and my side of things witchcraft can see beauty in all things why he is gifted with a camera.

Gwen: When you cast the spell to open the portal for the Ghost Adventures Crew did you send them a protection of sorts as well?

Lady Snake: To be honest now I did not cast a spell to open the portal? I taught the lads how to do it themselves, so they opened the portal and performed the spell, I was there to make sure they was safe and step in if needed. The part within the show where i went back to the altar and said please protect Lady Snake, it was to show the lads where and how to protect. Hope that makes sense.

Gwen: Do you believe that someone with no magic would be able to protect a beloved one using an inner strength?

Lady Snake: Yes I do believe that we all have Magic within us and we all use our energy and positive thoughts everyday with one thing or another at times we don't know we're doing it? Within a bad dream you can change it to a happy one? So the same is said to protecting loved ones.

Gwen: As a witch you must have seen more about Zak, Nick and Aaron that may not be so obvious, could you mention something?

Lady Snake: Again the GA lads don't really hide a lot and are very honest, I have shared a little about them. But we all need our privacy so will leave it there.

Gwen: What does Halloween mean for the link between our world and the spiritual world?

Lady Snake: All Hallows' eve is very important to the mundane world as well as the spiritual why? Because it's the time when the veil is thin and our ancestors, loved ones can come through easier to connect to us and chat, help and be seen. In other words some people that say are not so sensitive can get a chance to possibly feel see a loved one. It's a time for family celebration and remembrance as well as spell casting and protecting.It's the Witches New year also a very special time of year!

Lady Snake: Saluti a Gwen ed ai fans italiani di Ghost Adventures. E’ meraviglioso sentirvi. Vi ringrazio per le domande, cercherò di rispondere il più onestamente possibile.

Gwen: Perché sei diventata una strega?

Lady Snake: Sento di essere stata destinata ad essere una strega fin da quando ero piccola, i miei genitori cercarono di battezzarmi quando avevo circa sette anni e ricordo che scappavo sempre via rifiutandomi di accontentarli. In più, mi piace stare all’aperto e ricavare oggetti dagli alberi attorno a me, come bacchette, piume eccetera. Adoro anche collezionare candele e ovviamente scrivere rituali e incantesimi.

Gwen: E, al giorno d’oggi, cosa significa essere una strega?

Lady Snake: Per me, essere una strega è il lavoro più importante al mondo. Ricevo costantemente richieste da fans e persone che hanno bisogno di un altro tipo di aiuto. Do una mano con problemi di fertilità, lavoro, relazioni, vicini di casa fastidiosi e la lista prosegue. Tantissime altre persone sembrano comprendere che cosa significhi essere una strega al giorno d’oggi, quelli dalla mente più aperta. Malgrado ciò, l'argomento è ancora un tabù qui nel Regno Unito, purtroppo i media tendono a gettarvi sopra un’ombra negativa.

Gwen: Hai avuto l’onore di lavorare con la Ghost Adventures Crew per ben due volte, come è andata?

Lady Snake: Quando per la prima volta incontrai questi tre Americani percorrere la strada a filmare ero emozionata perché ridevano e scherzavano tra di loro, e ricordo di aver pensato a quanto sembrassero umili e cordiali. La sera prima delle riprese conobbi Aaron in hotel, non sapeva chi fossi io e conversammo piacevolmente mentre lui si fumava un sigaro. Quando gli rivelai la mia identità il suo linguaggio del corpo cambiò all’improvviso! Non assunse un comportamento sgradevole, ma un po’ diffidente nei miei confronti. All'epoca era veramente molto devoto al suo Dio. Disse di trovare il mio lavoro intrigante e che non vedeva l’ora di lavorare con me… Del giorno dopo non posso dimenticare lo sguardo dei ragazzi quando mi videro nelle mie vesti di strega. Sorrisero, mi misero immediatamente a mio agio e ascoltarono ogni mia parola. In tutta onestà, quello che avete visto nel filmato corrisponde esattamente a ciò che accadde. E’ stato un vero onore lavorare con questi tre ragazzi talentuosi ed appassionati del loro lavoro quanto lo sono io del mio. Ci tenemmo in contatto tramite Facebook e Twitter e fui davvero elettrizzata quando chiesero di nuovo il mio aiuto, per questa nuova occasione di incontrarli e lavorarci insieme e, sinceramente, di avere ancora l'immenso onore di stare a contatto con loro. Ho avuto la possibilità di parlare con ognuno di loro. Nick è un vero gentiluomo, puoi affrontare con lui qualsiasi argomento, era lui ad organizzare gli altri, possiede uno spirito molto sensibile. Zak è dotato di uno spiccato e asciutto senso dell’umorismo, ama la storia e tutto ciò che costituisce una sfida nel paranormale, un uomo di grande intelligenza. Aaron scherza tantissimo, non riesce a stare fermo o a rimanere seduto, la seconda volta che lo incontrai percepii in lui una gran vitalità e il mio senso di strega mi fece capire che fosse grazie alla sua capacità di vedere la bellezza nelle cose il motivo della sua bravura con la macchina fotografica.

Gwen: Quando hai eseguito l'incantesimo per aprire il portale per la Ghost Adventures Crew hai inoltre mandato loro una sorta di protezione?

Lady Snake: Ad essere sincera ora, non sono stata io ad aprire il portale, ho invece insegnato ai ragazzi come farlo da soli; infatti sono stati loro ad aprire il portale e ad eseguire l’incantesimo, io stavo semplicemente lì ad assicurarmi che fossero al sicuro, pronta ad intervenire se necessario. La scena in cui mi si vede indietreggiare verso l’altare e dire “Vi prego di proteggere Lady Snake” aveva lo scopo di mostrare ai ragazzi dove e come ricavare la protezione. Spero di essermi spiegata.

Gwen: Credi possibile che qualcuno privo di magia possa essere in grado di proteggere una persona amata usando una forza interiore?

Lady Snake: Sì, è mia convinzione che la magia viva dentro ad ognuno di noi, quante volte utilizziamo la nostra energia e i pensieri positivi per cambiare certe situazioni senza neanche accorgercene? O anche quando riusciamo a trasformare un incubo in un bel sogno? E’ lo stesso principio per quanto riguarda la protezione delle persone amate.

Gwen: Essendo tu una strega devi aver visto qualcosa di non così ovvio di Zak, Nick e Aaron, potresti farci un esempio?

Lady Snake: Come ho detto prima, i ragazzi non nascondono nulla e sono molto onesti, ho già fornito le mie impressioni su di loro. Ma visto che tutti abbiamo diritto alla nostra privacy non aggiungerò altro.

Gwen: Che cosa significa Halloween per il legame tra il nostro mondo e quello spirituale?

Lady Snake: La vigilia di Ognissanti è molto importante sia per il mondo ordinario che per quello spirituale, perché? Perché è il periodo in cui il velo si assottiglia e i nostri antenati e i nostri cari possono oltrepassarlo più facilmente, mettersi in contatto con noi e chiacchierare, aiutarci ed essere visti. E’ un periodo di festività e ricorrenza per le famiglie, come anche eseguire incantesimi e proteggere. E’ il Capodanno delle Streghe, un giorno speciale dell'anno!
